Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion
Price: $9 or $20 or $30 (depending on size)
It took me a very long while to try this eyelid primer; 1) because I am lazy and didn’t want to make a special trip to my Sephora or Ulta store, 2) the e.l.f. eyelid primer I was using was working very well, so why change products?, and 3) the tube of this stuff is a bit pricey at $20!
As it happened one day I was at my Ulta doing a little binge shopping and came across a mini size bottle of this primer for $9 so I decided to buy it and see what all the hoopla was about, and, boy howdy! I am an Urban Decay primer convert! This primer goes on nice and smooth and a little goes a long way. The mini size has a fuzzy tip applicator like a lip gloss while the tube is squeezy. I blob a little bit of the primer in the center of my eyelid and smooth it around my whole eyelid, upper and lower, with my finger.
This primer never feels heavy or sticky and never runs. My eyeshadow has never budged and no more oily lids! Geez, even the e.l.f. primer sometimes broke down.
You can get this primer in four different flavors, Greed (a very shimmery gold), Sin (a shimmery champaign), Eden (nude matte) and Original (nude). I bought the Greed and the Original, kept the Greed and sent the Original to my sissy. At first glance the gold tone seems like too much sparkle, but it does dry down a bit and becomes a loverly eye brightner/highlighter. Try it if you want a touch of pizazz. I like it, but I will probs buy the nude or champaign next time. Urban Decay guarantees that their primers brighten all shadows and never to crease. I believe it. I highly recommend this primer for any type of eyelid! Eileen
Ps. Just a little tip…start blending this stuff right away ‘cause it starts to dry quick and can be hard to spread!
